Emerging Technologies
Facebook's Timeline
The inferences and assumptions that can be made about Facebook's new timeline is that this future technology is designed to better organize the website and attract more users.
The part that surprised me the most is that Facebook keeps data about you and knows things about you. And also that $1.6 Billion is likely to be devoted to servers and storage devices.
Possibilities in the future for this area are that Facebook will become much more popular and start to be used in more business's and company's. It will also start to store more information about its users.
A technology from 2009 that was considered "emerging" back then but is now being used is Intelligent Software Assistant, it is a personal guide on smart phones called Siri that answers all types of questions to help users instead of using a search engine.

Evaluating Websites
For the first activity, I believe that out of the two websites the second one was true and the first was false. The second site Aluminum Foil Deflector Beanie is more accurate with The Quality Information Checklist.
In the third activity, I believe that the second website has the most accurate information about Mankato, Minnesoda. It gives the most information and answers The Quality Information Checklist the most clear.
What we have done in the last two days has helped me learn more about research and reliable websites. I learned how to research and get more accurate results quicker and easier. I also learned how to tell if a website it reliable, from using The Quality Information Checklist.

Citation Sources
Out of all three Citation Sources, Easy Bib, Citation Machine, and Source aid, I think Citation Machine was the easiest to use. It was the easiest for me because it was easy to insert the information and wasn't as confusing as the other sites. Easy Bib and Source aid were confusing because you had to go through a lot of steps to cite the article. But Citation Machine went a lot faster and easier.
